Hostile aliens attempt to destroy the ark, Roger has his aging genes turned off and slowly grows younger, and he finds love through glorious, adventurous dates in the arms of a cloned, genetically and socially engineered woman, Gwenyth. Roger explores the wonders of the ark and participates in seminars that lead to a new constitution which they hope will save humanity from our current course of extinction. At the conclusion, Roger is involved in a titanic battle for the new planet on land, sea, and air. Finally he explores their new world with his new family.
